Claudia Sheinbaum calls for adopting pets
Claudia Sheinbaum highlighted the importance of joining the initiative, “Adopt, don’t Buy”, to give a home to animals that have been abandoned on the streets.
“Having a pet is a great responsibility and if you are going to want a pet it is better to adopt,” Sheinbaum said.
Surrounded by rescued dogs and cats, she emphasized the need to work for the well-being of those innocent beings abandoned by their irresponsible human owners, because Mexico is one of the countries with the largest number of stray animals.
