The first death of 2024 is recorded in the city, early this Sunday, January 7, a young man of approximately twenty-five years old lost his life instantly, allegedly after falling from a moving vehicle on 49th Street at 32nd and 34th Streets. the Huayita neighborhood, Tizimín, where it was abandoned.
Several reports were sent to the 911 emergency number reporting a person injured on the aforementioned street, who mobilized municipal police units, who after arriving at the site saw a man lying face down on the pavement, approximately 25 years old, with a thin build, who wears blue jeans, a mustard and blue plaid shirt, and brown cowboy boots, who did not move or respond to the officers’ call, However, there was a lot of blood under his face.
The support services of an ambulance were requested, so the Y-14 of the Secretary of Public Security was sent to the site, whose paramedics immediately proceeded to evaluate the man, unfortunately in a short time they reported that he no longer had vital signs, indicating that he had facial trauma, severe head trauma, and distal cyanosis as visible injuries.
SSP units also arrived to take notice. After confirming the death, the area was cordoned off to notify other agencies such as the State Investigative Police, the State Attorney General’s Office, experts and the Institute of Forensic Sciences for the corresponding procedures. and proceed with the lifting of the body that remains unknown until now.
