In Miguel Hidalgo Square in this municipality, he harshly questioned the security strategy of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, which in 2023 alone exceeded the figure of 30 thousand deaths in Mexico.
“The current president decided to hug criminals and shoot citizens, he did not want to face crime (…), that is going to end because I am going to face crime, I do have the guts for you to live in peace “, he claimed.
He also promised to stop the growing violence in Mexico, which will imply a change in the security strategy.
“The responsibility of confronting organized crime belongs to the next president of the Republic, I am not going to blame Calderón, Peña Nieto, or Andrés Manuel. For that, you have all the force of the state and you have to apply it.”
This is a clear allusion to the fact that every morning, in his morning conference, AMLO blames the current errors and failures on the former presidents of Mexico.
“Enough of young people being murdered, enough of Guanajuato being in the news for cases like what happened in Salvatierra. “I am going to take care of the young people as if they were my children,” the virtual presidential candidate said in another part of her speech.
“Mrs. (Claudia) Sheinbaum said that it is the governor’s fault and I am going to give you a figure. The perception of security in Guanajuato is high at 83%.
