The Uber Eats platform began operations in Valladolid, in the first week of 2024, with an inauguration event held at the Hotel Country in the historic center of Pueblo Mágico.
The event was attended by Jordy Abraham Martínez, president of the Valladolid Restaurant Association (ARVAY), and representatives of Uber México, Enrique Gómez and Adrián Ramírez.
The technology company Uber Eats has a presence in 29 countries and 70 cities in Mexico.
The fundamental purpose of this initiative is to strengthen community ties by promoting the rich gastronomic offer of Valladolid.
In the past, the application has demonstrated its reach, having approximately 8 million users in Mexico alone and 125 million globally.
With the launch of the application in Valladolid, the opportunity opens for any food and beverage establishment in the city to benefit from the platform, offering their products to interested customers.
At the end of the event, Jordy Abraham, leader of ARVAY, stated: “We trust that the arrival of Uber Eats in Valladolid will contribute to expanding the culinary offer of our municipality, generating economic growth and employment.”
In a similar tone, Enrique Gómez from Uber México highlighted: “We know of the enormous gastronomic wealth that Valladolid offers, and for Uber Eats it is a privilege to be able to join the effort to spread and promote it.”
