Yucatán, among the first 3 Mexican states with the lowest unemployment rate in the country, registering an unemployment rate of 1.4%, a figure that is lower than the national rate of 2.6%, which reflects the good results of the economic strategy promoted by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal to provide quality jobs, better paid and with social security to Yucatecan families.
The report on the unemployment rate corresponding to last December from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), showed that the above meant a decrease of -0.5 percentage points in unemployment and an advance of 4 positions in the national ranking. compared to December 2022.
The pollster indicated that, in the monthly comparison, Yucatán registered a decrease of -0.58 percentage points and an advance of 5 positions compared to the previous month, that is, November 2023.
