Next April the new buses will begin to operate in these municipalities.

Inhabitants of some municipalities of Yucatán will have at their disposal new units of the “ Va y Ven ” transportation system, since next April trucks will arrive in Tekax, Tizimín and Valladolid .

Last Tuesday the State Government announced that on April 16, 15 new electric buses will be incorporated for Tekax , 10 conventional buses for Tizimín and 15 for Valladolid , making a total of 40 units .

Routes in municipalities

For Tekax, 15 Mini King Long electric units are destined for the routes: Interior Circuit and Exterior Circuit.

For Valladolid there will be 15 ‘Go and Come’ units for the routes: Valladolid Circuit and Valladolid transversal route.

For Tizimín there will be 10 ‘Va-y-Ven’ units on the routes: Cobay-Polifunccional, Santo Domingo Sur, Conalep Maquiladoras.

It must be remembered that the ‘Va y Ven’ already has a presence in Umán and Kanasín, the latter with Ie-tram units, 100% electric transportation and unique in Latin America.

According to the State Government, Umán, Kanasín, Valladolid, Tizimín and Tekax, are the largest municipalities after Mérida and that is why priority was given to the “Va y Ven” and the Ie-tram reaching those areas.
