AMLO rejects Latinus report on financing of ‘Los Zetas’

Journalist Carlos Loret de Mola reported in his website this Thursday, February, 15th, exclusive statements from the leader of Los Ardillos, a criminal group that operates mainly in the state of Guerrero and that initially was dedicated to kidnapping and extortion, about the alleged financing they gave to Andrés Manuel López Obrador to carry out his presidential campaign back in 2006.

“AMLO would hand over the entire country to ‘Los Zetas’ when he won the 2006 election,” the leader of ‘Los Ardillos’ declares on video.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador accused a setup and demanded evidence of Los Zetas ‘ alleged financing of his campaign in 2006, as revealed by Celso Ortega , leader of Los Ardillos.

After the interview with the boss in Latinus , the president insisted that his Government does not allow corruption and any accusation must be investigated with solid elements without promoting “public lynchings . “

An alleged criminal leader who operates in Guerrero stated that when he was part of ” Los Zetas ” he received instructions to contribute money to favor López Obrador’s candidacy, although he did not show evidence.

On Friday, February 16th, during his morning conference, the president attacked Loret de Mola and speculated that the interview took place at the journalist’s residence in Valle de Bravo.
