Claudia Sheinbaum registered as a presidential candidate with the National Electoral Institute (INE) on Sunday, February 18th.
The representative of the “Let’s Keep Making History” coalition, for the Morena, PT and Green Party parties, was accompanied by the national leader of Morena, Mario Delgado.
Also present during the delivery of the certificate was the president advisor of the INE, Guadalupe Taddei, as well as the other advisors of the electoral institute.
“The new stage of the Fourth Transformation has a woman’s face and means continuing to build the future for new generations,” Sheinbaum said after concluding her registration.
In front of dozens of supporters, Sheinbaum promised to consolidate President Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador’s priority projects such as the Mayan Train, the Interoceanic Train and the National Guard.
Likewise, he also committed to guaranteeing freedom of expression, substantive equality for women, that the budget be allocated to justice programs for indigenous peoples and programs, technological development, cultural rights, protection of the environment. environment and food sovereignty through the prohibition of planting transgenic corn.
