As part of the commitment to the health of the people of Campeche, the Government of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador allocated an investment of more than 177 million pesos for the Hemodynamics Room and highly specialized equipment at the “Dr. “Javier Buenfil Osorio.”

During a tour of the main hospitals in the State, the general director of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Zoé Robledo Aburto, said that these improvements will allow the General Hospital of Specialties to become a State Reference Center for the care of patients with heart attacks. acute myocardial disease and cardiovascular diseases, which represent one of the main health problems among the population.

Robledo Aburto visited the main hospital centers of the State, where, in the company of the Governor of the State, Layda Sansores San Román, they unveiled the inaugural plaque of the Hemodynamics Room and the discharge equipment. specialty of the General Specialty Hospital.

To enable this space—equipped to diagnose cardiovascular diseases—a total investment of 177 million pesos was required, which will make it possible to identify congenital or acquired pathologies of the vascular tree, to eventually treat them.

The person responsible to verify the delivery of the equipment was the coordinator of the IMSS-Wellness in Campeche, Liliana de los Ángeles Montejo León, who explained that an investment of 72 million pesos was required in the Hemodynamics Room alone.

In addition to the intervention in the infrastructure of the hospital center, the training of 18 health professionals was necessary directly by the equipment supplier, which took place from January 29 to February 2, 2024, since these medical personnel were hired directly by the IMSS-Wellbeing.

In the same Specialty Hospital, Robledo Aburto, in the company of federal and state authorities, cut the inaugural ribbon of the Magnetic Resonance Room, where the Federal Government invested a total of 71,932,320 pesos.

With this resource, it was possible to acquire a Magnetic Resonance unit with its proper installation and the corresponding equipment, which includes a Radiological and Fluoroscopic unit, C-Arm type, two Laparoscopy Towers, and a Hyperbaric Chamber.

Zoé Robledo also supervised the delivery of four Ultra sonographers, 50 Clinical Beds, and an Endoscopy Tower.
