Families from Xpechil and Xoy, in the municipality of Peto, already have 310 new direct jobs when Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal inaugurated the new Bachoco Akutza breeding farms. Pokol is a product of the policy it promotes to bring jobs to the interior of the state, benefiting the economy of Yucatecans by improving their quality of life.
This new complex, which was carried out through a private investment of 1.1 billion pesos, has the capacity to produce 3 million eggs weekly, making Yucatán self-sufficient. Yucatan used to import eggs from Sonora, but now, with the new farms it will be obtained locally, which makes the processes more efficient and will lower the price of eggs in the state.
On a work tour of this municipality, Vila Dosal delivered the rehabilitation work of the Casa Ejidal de Peto, housing certificates, distributed support from the Food Security program and supervised the registration of beneficiaries to the Peso a program. Weight.
Accompanied by the Mayor of Peto, Renán Jiménez Tah, and the managers of the Peninsular Business Unit, Hugo Monterrey Arriola, and of Bachoco Breeding Farm Operations, Saúl Herrera Barceló, the Governor held the inaugural ribbon cutting of the new complex.
In turn, Monterrey Arriola thanked the Governor for his support in making this project a reality, which will boost egg production in the state and also generate jobs in the interior of the state.
It was explained that this project includes a total of 84 buildings with a housing capacity of 1,112 birds, which are distributed in 28 buildings for breeding, where there is a capacity of 384 thousand birds in development. Also, there are 56 laying buildings, where there is a capacity of 728 thousand birds in hatching egg production.
The above represents a growth in the operation of breeding stock in the Peninsula of 68%, compared to the capacity that existed before the project.
For his part, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development and Labor (Sefoet), Ernesto Herrera Novelo, pointed out that Bachoco has found in Yucatán a place to invest and generate jobs, proof of this, said company has a presence in more than 28 municipalities. with 160 work centers, production plants, incubators, 3 Cedis, 58 stores, 90 farms and an administrative office.
Continuing with its work agenda, together with the heads of the Secretariats of Social Development (Sedesol), Roger Torres Peniche, and of Rural Development (Seder), Luis Felipe Martín Oroza, Vila Dosal delivered 33 Social Housing certificates , which, in total, already add up to 1,683 shares in the municipality of Peto alone so far in the state administration with an investment of 77 million pesos.
Together with petuleña families, the Governor distributed support from the Food Security program in support of the economy and feeding those who need it most. In Peto, more than 6,500 bags of corn will be delivered for self-consumption, representing 130 tons.
In this framework, Vila Dosal pointed out that in his government the support is equal for everyone and is delivered without any distinction and to those who truly need it, since this is how the transformation of the state is being achieved.
