Acrobats, contortionists, trapeze acts, LED lights and bubbles, the public will be able to enjoy after the inauguration of “Destiny, a journey through Mexico”, the first international show offered for free in the Parque La Plancha amphitheater.
During this show, attendees were able to travel, with different acts, through the diversity of Mexico, in which the public, regardless of their age, had an unforgettable moment full of emotions, in a family environment.
With 16 artists of different nationalities on stage including Mexicans, British, Argentinians, and Americans, the Yucatecan public was able to appreciate acrobatic and precision acts with a production supported by a giant screen on stage.
This show will be presented from February 28 to March 24 with performances from Tuesday to Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and from Friday to Sunday with two feature presentations, at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
In this way, Yucatecans have world-class shows to enjoy as a family, fulfilling the long-cherished dream of more than 40 years of having “La Plancha” Park, the best in Mexico that offers amenities such as a lake with a fountain. , “Skatepark”, “Pet Park” and the Light and Railway Museums, for the enjoyment of locals and visitors.
The Plancha was for decades an abandoned spot that generated insecurity and instability, and now it has been turned into an important attraction that not only attracts tourism, but boosts the local economy.
La Plancha Park covers more than 20 hectares and now Yucatecan families and visitors enjoy its linear walkway, a Gastronomic Market, the Skatepark, two Museums, a circular walkway, an artificial lake, an outodoor auditorium and amphitheater, and for the safety of all people, more than 129 video surveillance cameras were installed.
