IEPAC approves the registration of Joaquin Diaz Mena’s candidacy for Morena, PT and PVEM.
The General Council of the Electoral and Citizen Participation Institute of Yucatán (IEPAC) unanimously approved yesterday Sunday the candidacy for governor of Yucatán of Joaquín “Huacho” Díaz Mena for the coalition “Let’s Keep Making History in Yucatán”, which makes up Morena, PT and PVEM, reported Omar Pérez Avilés, acting general secretary of president of Morena Yucatán.
The Morenista leader affirmed that with this validation of the nomination by the electoral authority, “Huacho” will go out to ask for the citizen vote to defend and consolidate the Fourth Transformation in Yucatán starting on March 1 when the campaign begins, which will conclude next May 29.
Within the framework of the extraordinary session this Sunday, February, 18th, Morena’s representative before the IEPAC, Ángel Alain Gómez Chuc, reaffirmed that one of the most prestigious polling houses in Mexico, De las Heras-Demotecnia, places Díaz Mena with a wide margin advantage over their closest competitor, so that with the approval of their candidacy they take one step closer to the goal set for 2024: obtaining victory at the polls.
Pérez Avilés assured that they continue to advance in unity and mobilization, working to fulfill the people’s demands to make a true change for the well-being of all of us who live in the state.
