An elderly motorcycle taxi driver, lost his life this morning after being brutally run over by the driver of a vehicle at the entrance to this municipality.
The events occurred in the early hours of this Wednesday when the driver of the motorcycle taxi was traveling on the road above from east to west. Still, when trying to return through the other lane he was hit by a car, whose driver could not stop in time, killing the man instanteanously.
The impact was so strong that the motorcycle taxi driver’s leg was severed in the accident and his lifeless body ended up in the middle of the road.
Agents of the Municipal and State Police arrived to guard the area, while FGE personnel arrived for legal proceedings.
The driver of the compact car that hit the man was detained.
