DJ Steve Aoki took place, who performed within the framework of the Mérida Carnival 2024.

According to official figures, the artist of Japanese origin made more than 100 thousand people vibrate on the stage set up at the X’matkuil fairgrounds.

Shortly after 1 a.m., social media was flooded with photos and videos showing Aoki interacting with the crowd; and there was no shortage of the famous “ Pastelazos ” that characterize her presentations.

Steven Hiroyuki Aoki, better known as Steve Aoki, is a Japanese-American DJ, remixer, and record producer; he is also the owner and founder of the music label Dim Mak Records.

In 2011, he debuted on DJ Mag magazine’s Top 100 DJs list, entering directly at #42. In both 2016 and 2022, he ranked seventh in the world, these two being his best years in the rankings.

This amount of people attending the concert confirms that Merida is an ideal venue for Electronic Music Festivals.
