A taxi driver identified as Juan Manuel “N”, 55 years old, from Campeche, was arrested by the authorities in Yucatán because he is accused of having abused his 12-year-old stepdaughter, a crime that occurred last February i the neighboring state.
The arrest warrant was ordered by a Control Judge, and was executed by agents of the State Investigation Police of the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with elements of the State Attorney General’s Office.
Regarding the case, it was only revealed that last February, the subject sexually assaulted his minor stepdaughter, for which the corresponding complaint was filed, which reached the judge who, after analyzing the data, requested his arrest.
Now, Juan Manuel “N” is behind bars awaiting the first hearing to define his legal situation.
