This was the message left by Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Candidate for the Presidency of Mexico for the “Morena-PT-PVEM Coalition” to the inhabitants of Progreso, where he invited all of Mexico to continue opening the way to what she called the “true change of the transformation movement”.
”This June 2, what we are going to decide is whether the transformation of Mexico continues or we return to corruption, to privileges, we are going to decide if the PAN continues governing Yucatán, – now the PRIAN together – or if you choose Morena and its transformation”, Sheinbaum said.
She added that the arrival of the 4T to Yucatán, the southeast of Mexico will continue to be one of the great pillars of development through consolidated projects such as the Maya Train and the Transisthmian Train, which will allow the strengthening of ports such as Progreso.
”The Maya Train is for passengers now, but we have to make it a freight train too and connect it with the Interoceanic Train, that goes from Oaxaca to Veracruz, and at the same time develop the port of Progreso, Yucatan, and make it the most important port of the entire peninsula,” she pointed out.
The standard bearer of Morena, the PT, and the PVEM, also presented some of the 100 points that make up her national project, with which the second floor of the Fourth Transformation will be built, such as the creation of a monthly pension for women of 60 to 64 years old; provide scholarships for all boys and girls in public education; the construction of 500 thousand homes throughout the country; and in particular for Yucatán, guarantee access to health with the construction of more hospitals and health centers, as well as ensuring that workers in all sectors have social security; provide support to fishermen, among many other actions.
Before the militants and sympathizers of Progreso, Joaquín Diaz Mena, Candidate for Governor of the State of Yucatán, promised that together with Claudia Sheinbaum the great inequality that exists in the entity, derived from the bad governments that have prevailed in the peninsula.
”The enemy to overcome is the inequality that exists in Yucatán, we want well-being for everyone (…) We are going to do it, together with Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, Yucatán must be reborn as a state with no inequality’, Diaz Mena pointed out.
Claudia Sheinbaum and Joaquín Diaz Mena were accompanied by Verónica Camino Farjat, Candidate for the Senate for the State of Yucatán; Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, Candidate for the Senate for the State of Yucatán.
