With a single blow against a tree, a motorcyclist lost his life while riding his two-wheeled vehicle on the outer lane of the Mérida Periférico.
The events occurred on the night of Monday, March 18, at kilometer 5 on the outer lane of the aforementioned road, in which the man, between 30 and 40 years old, was traveling when he lost control of the handlebar and crashed his motorcycle into the trunk of a tree.
The impact that the motorcyclist took was such that he bounced and ended up several meters away from the tree, lying on the pavement on the other side of the side road.
Paramedics from the Ministry of Public Security arrived at the scene only to confirm the man’s death.
Staff from the PEI and the FGE were requested for legal work, as well as the SEMEFO for the removal of the body and the corresponding autopsy.
