A bad maneuver by the driver of a trailer caused residents of eastern Progreso to be left without electricity on Monday night.

The events were recorded at around 11 at night when suddenly residents of 33rd Street and 60-A in the Francisco I. Madero neighborhoods were left without power, so they left their properties to see what was happening.

At that moment they realized that a trailer without a box had just collided with the base of a meter, which it completely knocked down, and in its attempt to flee it pulled several electricity cables.

The angry neighbors launched complaints against the driver of the heavy vehicle, who started the car and escaped.

In an attempt to make him return, a person chased him for several blocks with his motorcycle, but in the end, the truck driver managed to escape.

According to witnesses, the accident left some houses and businesses in the area without power. The complainants notified the police authorities to ask them to catch the subject.
