Fermín C.B., member of the Secretariat of Citizen Security and former Director of the Cancun Cereso, was executed with at least 10 shots, in broad daylight on Monday, April 29th, in Chetumal, the state capital of Quintana Roo.
In a video that went viral on social networks, it can be observed that the deceased was being chased by a white truck, but upon reaching the intersection of Vallehermoso streets between Petcacab and Chetumal, he was run over by a taxi driver, after gunshots were fired at him from another vehicle that was chasing him.
Even though the man, who was also a member of the Navy Secretariat, fell to the ground, the gunmen continued shooting from the car until they finished him off.
There were six cars at the scene that observed what happened, and two of them decided to speed up and flee the scene when they heard the detonations.
