Alejandro Ruz supervised the Aquapark of the San Antonio Kaua II neighborhood

Mayor Alejandro Ruz Castro reported that, since the beginning of the holidays for Holy Week, and until August, thousands of families will be able to enjoy healthy recreation and the refreshing waters of the pools of the Aquapark in the San Antonio Kaua II, located to the east of the city.

“This public space is in optimal conditions to receive visitors seeking to mitigate the heat in an environment surrounded by nature,” the Mayor said.

He added that the Easter holiday period is the ideal setting for people who cannot leave the city for various reasons to have more options to spend a great day with family or friends.

The Aquapark receives an average of between 150 and 200 visitors a day per week, while on weekends the figure increases to 300 or more people.

During the tour, Ruz Castro recalled that after three years without service due to the 2020 floods and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Acuaparque pools were opened again to the public in April 2023 with a more renewed and fresh image for the enjoyment of the families.
