A six-year-old boy died from drowning in the Cenote San Ignacio in Yucatán while celebrating his birthday.

Reports indicate that the minor’s parents lost sight of their son due to carelessness and later found him floating in one of the local pools.

Despite the arrival of the paramedics who tried to revive the minor, he no longer had vital signs, and the support of the Forensic Medical Service was requested.
