The events were reported in the “Rojano” Marina of Progreso
On Sunday, April 28th, while she was enjoying a boat ride with other people, a woman identified as Roxana “N”, 45 years old, lost her life after falling from the boat in the Yucalpetén area in the municipality of Progreso, Yucatán.
The events were reported at the “Rojano” Marina in the port of Yucalpetén, Progreso.
Roxana was on top of the boat known as “Terapia” when she began to feel sick and fell into the sea.
Various versions indicate that the woman had a seizure and others, that she had a heart attack, and under these circumstances she fell into the water, causing her to drown. Her body was pulled from the sea and the ship immediately returned to the port of Yucalpetén.
Paramedics from the SSP arrived at the scene, who checked the woman, but unfortunately confirmed that she no longer had vital signs.
The area was cordoned off by the corresponding authorities.
