A car almost fell into the sea after leaving the road to Telchac

A driver was about to go into the sea with everything and his SUV because he lost control of the vehicle and left the Progreso-Telchac Puerto highway, in Yucatán.

The vehicle and its driver did not fall completely into the sea. The car stopped at the edge of the water, on the stones of the road embankment.

Last Friday, May 24 in the afternoon, the motorist lost control of a Hyundai SUV at kilometer 38 of the Progreso-Telchac Puerto highway, left the road, and stopped on the embankment, at the edge of the sea.

The driver got out of the car on his own and sat on the side of the road. He suffered minor injuries. Other drivers who were traveling there called 911. Paramedics from the Yucatan Public Security Secretariat provided first aid and commented that the driver, who was about 54 years old, had his blood pressure drop and, feeling ill, he lost control of the truck.
