Mauricio Vila Dosal, governor of Yucatan celebrates the Day of the Holy Cross with construction workers
With the traditional Yucatecan chicharra, Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal celebrated the Day of the Holy Cross together with the bricklayers of the construction works of the Tourist and Gastronomic Corridor on 60th Street and the remodeling of the Plaza Grande, which are progressing well. at good pace and that, once completed, will give a fresher and renewed image that will contribute to boosting tourism and the economy of the area.
During a supervision tour of these projects, Vila Dosal had a meeting with the construction workers, where he recognized them for their daily work that contributes to the growth and economic development of Yucatán.
Sitting in a ditch under the shade of one of the trees on the east side of Plaza Grande, right in front of the Cathedral of Mérida, the Governor and the construction workers, who took a break from their labor, tasted some tacos of this Yucatecan delicacy and cooled off a little from the high temperature that have been recorded in Yucatán lately.
