A spectacular accident occurred on the night of Friday, May 10th, when a truck ended up hitting the base of a pedestrian bridge in the eastern area of the Mérida Periférico, resulting in heavy material damage and an injured motorist.

The vehicle was advancing on the outer lanes of the Periférico, and after the bridge at the exit to Mulchechén, the man behind the wheel turned right to take the side towards the entrance to Kanasín.
