María Fritz Sierra inaugurated new renovated facilities at the Teabo Health Center.
The inhabitants of Teabo now have more comfortable, modern and better equipped facilities at the Health Center, after the person in charge of the Governor’s Office, María Fritz Sierra, supervised the modernization work carried out as part of the efforts of the State Government to improve the quality of life of Yucatecans by bringing a new laboratory, ultrasound equipment, as well as dental and psychological care to the interior of the state, that will be providing services 24 hours a day, six days a week.
Accompanied by the local mayor, Aída María de Jesús Fernández Góngora, Fritz Sierra verified the improved facilities where the inhabitants of Teabo will now be able to access new services without any cost or need to leave their community, and among which It includes a dental office with the best quality equipment.
On this work tour through the south of the state and together with the head of the State Health Secretariat (SSY), Mauricio Sauri Vivas, Fritz Sierra confirmed that the dental office was renovated with the application of paint, lighting with LED technology installation, a sanitary and dental registration forging was carried out, which includes hydraulic, sanitary, air and electrical contact outlet. A sink and hydraulic outlet for a sink, fan and air conditioning were also installed.
In this sense, Adriana Isabel Fernández Góngora, a citizen from Teabo, assured that these new facilities will contribute a lot to the welfare of the community, since it means that she and her family will be able to be treated without delays and in first-class facilities, in addition to saying she is grateful because they now have various services that were not previously available in Teabo.
“I thank the State Government because they have made an effort to improve the Health Center and the service options so now we will not have to go somewhere else to be treated. I plan to take the opportunity to have my teeth checked and my daughter-in-law will be able to have ultrasound studies because she is pregnant,” said the housewife.
“It’s good that the government has started working for the benefit of the people in need and those of us who do not have health insurance. I hope they continue like this because this means that we are improvingour health services,” she concluded.
