Another option is to visit Doña Mirna Gorocica who since 1989 has dedicated herself to preparing regional wood-fired dishes, a tradition that she inherited from her father, who taught her all the techniques that she now performs every day. Some of the exquisite regional dishes she makes are: stew, Andalusian tripe, stuffed cheese, poc chuc, breaded, among others.
Since there should be no meal without dessert, you should try Mamules, they are traditional bread made in a traditional wood-fired stone oven. Its main ingredients are flour, egg, butter, and a delicious handmade filling. The Teyere family is responsible for making this unique bread in the region, with the original recipe which they have kept alive with them for 127 years.
