On Wednesday, May 29, the candidate for the Municipal Presidency of Progreso for the PAN political party, Erik Rihani González, closed his campaign successfully, accompanied by his wife Alexis Abimerhi, and his mother, the teacher Dolores González, in the midst of a jubilant atmosphere.

“This is how the celebration of democracy should be enjoyed. We have already won this campaign, now we are going to win the election, let us all go this June 2 to vote 6 out of 6 for our PAN candidates,” exclaimed front-runner Erik Rihani before thousands of Progreso residents who packed the local sports complex.

Likewise, Rihani pointed out that during these 60 days of campaigning, he has been favored in the polls on voting intention, which places him with a 51.7% advantage and which represents just over half of the Progreso residents who have decided to vote for the project he leads. He said that people are aware and want the changes to continue so that Progreso continues to advance and transform itself with the help of the good governments of National Action.

“In Progreso, there are still things to do, but as our future governor of Yucatan Renán Barrera has said today, as the Governor on leave Mauricio Vila has said, and as we say today: The best for Progreso is yet to come,” emphasized the PAN candidate.

“Today we closed our campaign, we did a clean job based on proposals, we are convinced that the people of Progreso will give us their vote of confidence so that we will work hand in hand with our next governor of Yucatan Renán Barrera and the entire Yucatan Team, my commitment is that great things will come for our municipality of Progreso,” shared Rihani.

Erik Rihani González stressed that his campaign has been a reflection of unity, commitment and teamwork, where everyone has put their best effort to reach every corner of Progreso and every sector of society, so that together and as a team they can seek a better place to live.
