Staff from Merida’s Centenario Zoo take care of a Bengal tiger cub that was secured in a shipping package at the cargo zone of the Mérida International Airport.

It was in recent days that elements of the National Guard, in routine work, inspected parcel companies in the air terminal, discovering a box where the copy was found, which was immediately secured.

Because it is just a puppy, it requires special care, which is why the little Bengal tiger was delivered to the Centenario Park, where it was confirmed that it is in good health and is already receiving the necessary care.

It is worth mentioning that this was the first time that a seizure of this type was made at the Mérida airport, and the small animal is now in good hands waiting to determine what its future will be.
