“Expo Pets 2024” exhibitions, talks and contests at the Siglo XXI Convention Center

This weekend, Mérida will host the seventh edition of the Expo Mascota Yucatán 2024, an unmissable event for all pet lovers in the State, which will be held in the Ek Balam Hall of the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center, with more of 50 activities.

On Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30 different activities will be taking place at the Siglo XXI Convention Center, giving attendees the opportunity to discover products and services from more than 120 exhibiting companies.

In a press conference, the general director of this event, Roberto Romahn, reported that the event will be held from 10 in the morning to 9 at night on both days, the cost of Admission will be 30 pesos per adult and $10 per child.

“There have been seven editions in which this event for companion pets has been held, in which, due to its content, the participation of several specialists and the more than 120 exhibiting companies, it has positioned itself in the taste of Yucatecan society. and all of those who have or like pets,” he noted.

For the first time, the Mr. Peet Fashion Dog contest will be held, a dog fashion contest, a costume contest with Star Wars themes, Mexican clothing, Yucatecan clothing or retro costumes, as well as an exotic pet pavilion with amphibians and reptiles.

He also reported that for cat lovers there will be “Gatolandia”, a pavilion where attendees can find products, services, activities, talks with experts and contests for kittens and a catwalk for adoption.
