House construction industry to be reactivated in Valladolid

The housing construction industry for workers would resume in Valladolid after the suspension of activities that occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Manuel Navarrete Correa, president of the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce (Canaco), revealed that he has received information that housing developments will soon resume, to grant housing with government credit to new couples who until now At the moment they are paying rent.

After about five years of real estate developments being stopped, that is, the construction and extensions of subdivisions, there are indications that they will soon resume, which will make the city grow much more, especially in the surrounding areas, says Navarrete Correa.

The businessman remembers that due to the pandemic, all real estate developments were stopped, especially those aimed at the working class, that is, those who would have the right to obtain some credit through the government.

In the last three years, he indicates, only some housing complexes have been developed, but aimed at other types of clients with greater purchasing power.

As an example, he recalled that a private businessman sold land, ready to build, that is located next to the “Guadalupana” hacienda; Another developer built residential houses with a country touch on the road that leads to the community of Tesoco.

Both projects are aimed at financially solvent clients; several foreigners even managed to buy the properties.

In the case of the developments aimed at the working class, all of them stopped, but Navarrete Correa, as he has been informed, will soon resume, to grant housing with government credit to new couples who are currently paying rent.

Navarrete considers that about five years after there have been no developments in the city, many young people have already gotten married and require housing since at the same time they work and surely already have the right to obtain some type of credit to have their own home; In addition, the government increasingly offers better credit opportunities that should not be missed.
