The National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), in its “Consumer Confidence Indicator”; confirms that more Mexicans considered themselves to be in sufficient financial position to go on vacation because they have the perception that their current economic situation is better than a year ago.

Meanwhile, a recent report from the Federal Ministry of Tourism states that 44% of Mexican travelers prefer to vacation on the beach.

Regarding the amount of money they will spend to visit Quintana Roo, those surveyed consider spending around 12 thousand pesos.

This includes plane tickets or fuel and tolls, in case they travel by car, the cost of the hotel where they will stay, and some expenses that they have not considered.

The youngest are those who are most enthusiastic about reaching the coasts of the Mexican Caribbean in the coming weeks, being mostly people between 17 and 29 years old, who belong to the middle and upper middle class, adds the information from YouGov Global Profiles.
