Mexico presents International “Pueblos Mágicos” forum in the United States 

Everything is ready to carry out the third edition of the International Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos, which will be held from June 28 to 30, at the Henry B. Convention Center, in San Antonio, Texas.

The head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur), Miguel Torruco Marqués, indicated that, for this edition, the participation of 139 Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns) from 26 states of the Mexican Republic, as well as 26 Barrios Mágicos (Magical Neighborhoods), has been confirmed in person; Meanwhile, the rest of the Pueblos Mágicos and Neighborhoods will participate virtually through the platform of our strategic ally México Desconocido.

He explained that the International Fair of Pueblos Mágicos has the purpose of publicizing and promoting these consolidated tourist destinations as the new tourist face of Mexico, which are important travel motivators. With the 177 Pueblo Mágicos and now the 32 Barrios Mágicos, Mexico manages to expand the offer of tourist destinations to promote them in our main source market, the United States.

He highlighted that it is the first International Fair of Pueblos Mágicos in which the Barrios Mágicos are added, a designation given to emblematic polygons located mainly in the capitals of the states or in some of the main cities, which keep the essence of a town. ; and in turn, they function as a receiving and distributing center for tourists and visitors to the Pueblos Mágios. Quintana Roo confirmed its presence at this international event.
