Information released by the travel platform Despegar.com explained that Mexican travelers have five favorite places for the summer vacation season: Cancun, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Playa del Carmen.
The report says that this year, more Mexicans intend to vacation in Quintana Roo and, although the Airbnb option sounds strong to them, most prefer to stay in four and five star hotels under the “all-inclusive” modality.
According to the information presented by Despegar.com, there is a greater preference for “All Inclusive”, since, unlike Airbnb, they have all the comforts (food, drinks, and entertainment included), so they consider it to be much cheaper and more convenient for them.
The document mentions that for this summer of 2024, the reservation of accommodation in Quintana Roo by national tourists increased by about 21%, compared to the same period last year.
