Very heavy storms for today, Tuesday, June 25.

The ‘Mayan’ trough and a vortex at higher levels will bring heavy rainfall to the three peninsular states, particularly in the east and west of Yucatan, east and west of Campeche, and north and south of Quintana Roo. Moderate rains are expected in Tabasco, with the possibility of strong wind gusts and electrical activity in storm areas.

Forecasts indicate scattered very heavy rains (50 to 75 mm) in the east, center, and west of Yucatan, east and west of Campeche, north and south of Quintana Roo, as well as moderate rains (5 to 25 mm) in the south, center, and southeast of Tabasco.

Despite lower forecasted rainfall accumulations, the risk of urban and rural flooding remains high. It is crucial to stay updated with the warnings issued by the authorities. The maximum temperature range will be between 29 °C to 34 °C, and winds will be from the east-southeast at 10 to 45 km/h, with possible gusts higher than 50 km/h in storm areas.

There is no cyclonic threat for the region at the moment. However, the storm potential will continue this week. Of course, we will keep you updated with all the news.
