Yucatán Seminary’s wall collapsed after heavy rains hit Mérida

The heavy rain that fell on Monday, June 24th, caused a part of the perimeter wall of the Yucatán Major Seminary to fall, leaving no people injured.

The damage to the facilities of the priest training house occurred in about eight linear meters of the fence that is located on 17-B and 14 streets in the Itzimná neighborhood.

At the site, a group of workers could be seen repairing the wall that has been there for many years and there could be a structural risk of collapse.
