Yucatecan company will use Artificial Intelligence for egg and chicken production

One of the main companies in the country’s chicken and egg production sector will implement a technological system managed by Artificial Intelligence in its production and operation systems.

Through a statement, the company of Yucatecan origin specified that, with a growing amount of information generated by its daily operations, the need for a solution that would allow it to store and access its data more efficiently and securely was imminent.

Crío Empresa, one of the main chicken and egg production firms in the country, will implement on-premise storage solutions from IBM to modernize its operations and continue bringing the highest quality poultry products to the tables of Mexican families.

“The implementation of IBM storage solutions has been an important step in our effort to modernize our operations and improve our efficiency for more than a decade,” stated Alejandro Tavares, IT director for Crío Empresa.

After evaluating several options, the company decided to implement FlashSystem 7300, Flash Core Module 3, and Expert Care Premium storage solutions, which provide support and access to IBM specialists to provide maintenance. These solutions allow the company to store large amounts of data more efficiently and securely, which has significantly improved its ability to manage and access production data.

The implementation of the solution has also allowed the company to significantly reduce data access times, which has improved the efficiency of its operations, in addition to reducing its carbon footprint and minimizing its environmental impact, which is aligned with its commitment to sustainability.

“IBM technology has allowed us to reduce data access times, improving our ability to respond to our clients’ needs, and has reduced our operating costs. With this new storage infrastructure, we have managed to consolidate our data in one place, allowing us to standardize this data to be able to manage it in a better way and ensuring its immutability, so that the data is protected” he concluded.
