As of Friday afternoon, there was still no complaint regarding animal abuse to the State Attorney General’s Office. However, social activists began to replicate the bloody event, demanding justice.
Doris Canul Chan, an activist against animal abuse, regretted that more and more people commit these actions without any punishment. She even indicated that the municipalities do not follow ecological regulations and do not apply sanctions or fines.
