A wild badger came from the jungle and entered the Tekax General Hospital, putting the health personnel and the patients in check. The animal trapped the people, as it did not let them out, and threatened to bite them.

The animal threatened to attack anyone who approached it. The doctors and nurses had to wait for the Environmental Ecological Police to catch the badger to be able to leave.

The aggressive badger entered the hospital on Thursday, July 11, around 8:40 p.m.

According to the report, the animal entered the emergency area where municipal agents and deputy director Carlos Itzá Briceño arrived. The police indicated that the badger was very aggressive and was trying to bite them.

The officers quickly carried out the maneuvers and managed to catch it by grabbing the animal’s tail to subdue it and put it in a sack.
