Administration of the National Port System announces cruise arrivals for Progreso

Just over a week before the end of July, the tourism sector of the port of Progreso is still waiting for three ships.

The first of these will be received today, Tuesday, and it is the Carnival Breeze, which along with its brother, the Carnival Valor, are among those that frequent Progreso the most. Regarding the last one mentioned, his arrival is scheduled for Thursday the 25th.

To close the month, Grandeur of the Seas will make its second arrival to Yucatecan territory next Wednesday the 31st, since last Wednesday the 17th it arrived in the State for the first time, a vessel that left a good economic benefit for the tourist workers of both piers, in addition of El Corchito and the coastal police stations.

August will also be a promising month, with the arrival of eight cruises scheduled by the Administration of the National Port System (Asipona).

The first to arrive will be the Carnival Breeze, on Thursday the 1st, a ship that will be present five times. Her other arrivals will be on Tuesday the 6th, Thursday the 15th, Tuesday the 20th and Thursday the 29th.

The Carnival Valor cruise will arrive on Thursdays the 8th and 22nd, while Grandeur of the Seas will only arrive on Wednesday the 14th.

It is expected that the arrivals of these cruise ships will help raise the economy of concessioned waiters, as well as street vendors and masseuses, among other service providers in the municipal seat.

The next few days will be combined with the arrival of local and national tourists, who would choose the port as a summer destination to spend their last days of vacation.
