The Canine Unit (K-9) of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) completed the Certification of Detection Standards for its 14 pairs by the “Hill Country Dog Center” (HCDC), based in Pipe Creek Texas, USA.
Trainers from the American company were at the facilities of the K-9 Unit of the State Police to evaluate the respective canine pairs on detection standards for narcotics, weapons, and explosives.
Following the evaluation, the HCDC published on its official website congratulating the Yucatán K-9 Unit for such a notable achievement.
