Mayor Edwin Bojórquez Ramírez thanked the exemplary behavior and responsible attitude of the families of Kanasín during the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

In a message on his social networks, the mayor also thanked each of the elements of the Kanasín Civil Protection, the Kanasín Municipal Police, and the Kanasín Ecological Police for their commitment to work in favor of the entire municipality.
Likewise, he extended his recognition to the workers of the DIF of Kanasín and the Kanasín City Council for their commitment to work in favor of the families of the municipality.
Edwin Bojórquez recalled that close coordination was maintained with the Government of Yucatán and Civil Protection of Kanasín to keep the citizens of the municipality duly informed about the development and conditions of the tropical system.
Finally, he reminded the families of the municipality that “we are in the middle of hurricane season and we cannot and should not let our guard down. “We will continue working to strengthen the culture of prevention.”
