For more than 3 hours of effort, SSP firefighters and cowboys from this city managed to rescue a mare that had fallen into a well under construction on a property in the San José Nabalam neighborhood.
The events occurred this Sunday, when Yusef Cordero requested police help reporting that his 14-year-old mare had fallen into a well 7 meters deep.
The agents requested the support of SSP firefighters, who went to the field, to mount an operation, which included the support of a crane to remove the poor horse.
They also had the support of veterinarians and cowboys, their job was to go down into the well and inject tranquilizers into the animal so that it could be manipulated.
At around 7 p.m., they finally managed to get the animal out.
The rescue was complicated because it was a very small space, so it was feared that she would be injured.
Once outside, the mare was assessed and she had no injuries, other than stress.
In the end, it was suggested to the owner of the house that he somehow cover the well, since now it was his sprinkler, tomorrow it could be a person.
