To respond to current demands in technology, streamline production processes, optimize sales and advertising, and enter the world of new technologies, the National Chamber of the Housing Development and Promotion Industry in Yucatan (Canadevi) announced that it will rise to industry 5.0, which includes artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality and tokenization, among others.

The president of Canadevi in the state, Sergei López Cantón, pointed out that it is already a reality that more industry partners are joining the use of new technologies in their businesses to streamline not only production processes but also sales quotes and dealing with potential clients, through chatbots.

He shared that more and more Canadevi companies are turning to look at these technologies. He also highlighted that AI is among the most implemented in construction processes. There is an alluring project, he stated, that proposes a flight with a drone that integrates a camera that detects the progress of the building and generates a work progress report and a payment estimate for the contractor.

We have AI elements in the marketing and advertising part that detect a little of the market interests and tastes. Through this, they generate specialized campaigns for this particular sector,” he noted.

And in that sense, Canadevi, in coordination with the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor, announced the first edition of the Real Estate Tech, an unprecedented event on the peninsula that will be held on August 21 at the Centro de Yucatán Siglo XXI Conventions, with from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

López Cantón highlighted the objective of this event is to promote digital transformation in the real estate sector and the adoption of innovative technologies that improve efficiency, transparency, and experience for all people involved in this industry. There will be the participation of 18 already confirmed companies.

He stressed that “Real Estate Tech” has been meticulously planned to explore and discuss how technology is refashioning the real estate sector. He emphasized that leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts will meet to share their knowledge about the trends transforming how real estate projects are conceived, developed, sold, rented, and managed.
