The Tulum International Airport decided to suspend its operations due to the threat of Hurricane Beryl.

According to an official statement, air traffic will be suspended from 2:00 pm today, July 4 until 12:00 pm on July 7. This measure is taken to prevent air accidents or tragedies due to expected adverse weather conditions, including winds of 185 km/h.

The airport management asked people not to use their facilities as shelter, as it is not safe. In addition, authorities asked workers to safeguard important documents and remove any objects that could become projectiles.

Flights are postponed
For those who had flights scheduled for today, July 4, and Sunday, July 7, it is recommended not to attend the airport and contact your airline to receive more information and safeguard your physical integrity.

With these measures, institutions in Quintana Roo are preparing to face the impact of Hurricane Beryl, prioritizing the safety of its inhabitants and visitors.
