UNAM recommended the use of face masks in closed places due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, highlighting that the states with the greatest rebound are: CDMX, Querétaro, Edomex, Nuevo León, and Puebla.

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) recommended the use of face masks in closed places due to the increase in COVID-19 cases registered in recent weeks and given the resumption of administrative activities at this university.

In a statement, the UNAM reported that according to data from the General Directorate of Epidemiology, the positivity of COVID-19 reflects a trend of gradual increase since June, that is, epidemiological week number 23.

The states with the highest number of coronavirus cases, according to the weekly report, are Mexico City, Querétaro, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, and Puebla.
