“Va y Ven” launches a new special service to attend concerts at GNP arena

Yesterday, the Show Route of the Va y Ven Transportation System began operations, with which the public could attend the concert at the GNP Seguros Forum in a comfortable, safe, and free way.

A fan of the singer María José, Miguel Pérez, pointed out that the Show Route was a good idea because it is an option so that they can enjoy the concerts without any worry.

“We were thinking of coming by taxi, we were going to spend around 500 pesos just on the transportation and now with this route we will save that amount, now it is up to us as citizens to know how to take advantage of it,” said the young man.

The Yucatan Transportation Agency (ATY) noted that the start of the route was without setbacks and with a favorable response from citizens who will now be able to enjoy the benefits of it, as part of the innovations being carried out in the transportation service.

On board one of the units of the Entertainment Route, Miguel Rendón celebrated the creation of this route because, he said, it will have many benefits for the public who attend the concerts.

“This is going to be one of the best trips of my life, with this route we will be able to go to the concert without worrying. We were going to go in our car, but when we found out about the Show Route we decided to leave the car in Gran Plaza and use the Va y Ven,” indicated the interviewee.

Miguel Rendón indicated that the Show Route will help reduce traffic and facilitate mobility, which is why he stated, “It is honestly a success and a way to support the people who attend the concerts.”

This new route leaves Gran Plaza every 8 minutes from 7 to 8:30 at night and the service will be available until one hour after the concert has concluded with the same 8-minute frequency.

The bus stop will be located on the north side of Gran Plaza in front of the “Pista Roja” Park.

The agency specified that the route includes two stops in the Galerías and Harbor Shopping Plazas, both on the way there and back, where users will be able to transfer with the different Va y Ven routes.

Unlike the conventional Va y Ven routes, this will provide service exclusively on the dates of the concerts scheduled at that entertainment center.

The Show Route started for free yesterday for María José’s concert and will also be free for the Venezuelan singer Danny Ocean on Thursday, July 11. The rate will be announced later.
