A Kia Soul-type car ended upside down on the sidewalk after hitting another Kia that was parked on 46th Street (between 57th and 59th), in the Center of Mérida.

As if that were not enough, the second Kia was projected forward and hit the rear of a Mazda parked in front.

The driver, an elderly person, was driving his Kia Soul on 46th Street heading south, but at the aforementioned crossroads, he allegedly felt bad, and that caused him to lose control of the steering wheel, turning to the right, where it hit the rear left side of the other Kia.

This caused him to fly, leaving the Soul overturned on its awning, on the left sidewalk of the street.

Following the impact, the other Kia went forward and struck a parked Mazda.

Witnesses to the events called the emergency number 9-1-1 and within minutes SSP paramedics arrived and assessed the driver, who had already recovered from the shock and blows he received from the impact, but he was still taken away. He suggested going to his family doctor for a more thorough evaluation.

SSP agents took note of the accident and then left everything in the hands of the corresponding insurers.
