Yucatán is consolidating itself as an important hub of innovation and technology at an international level, which allows the attraction and installation of foreign companies that generate more and better jobs for Yucatecans throughout the state, such as the Irish firm Accenture, a world leader in innovation and technology services, and whose expansion of its offices in Merida was presented today by Governor Mauricio Vila Dosal.
Vila Dosal, together with the General Director of Accenture Mexico, Jorge Castilla Ortuño, toured the new workstations of the Advanced Technology Center of the company located in the Camino Real Hotel, north of the city, and which offer employment to Yucatecans who serve 40 companies from four countries from the state.
Before Viridiana Zurita Zubieta, Technology Director, Accenture Mexico, the Governor recalled that today, in Yucatan, we are experiencing a historic moment, starting with the average salary in the state that has grown by 64%, the highest salary in our history, but also the largest number of formal jobs.
Accenture is already operating at 100%, directly benefiting employees and thousands of clients in Mexico and the world.
The objective of this Advanced Technology Center is to attract the best talent, establishing a space for the co-creation of digital solutions and experiences. Likewise, with a focus on SAP, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, and Artificial Intelligence, it seeks to promote the exchange of knowledge and nurture the university ecosystem.
