The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) carried out an anti-drug operation in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood of Kanasín, where they arrested three alleged drug traffickers and seized just over seven million pesos in narcotics.
The operation was in a house on 25th Street in that neighborhood, where FGR agents, supported by personnel from the National Guard, the Army, the Mexican Navy, and the state police, arrived at dawn to execute the search warrant granted by a federal judge.
With the support of dogs, the Public Ministry located inside the house about 30 kilos of drugs known as crystal. This amount would represent just over 7 million pesos. In addition, the authorities seized other drugs like marijuana and other psychotropics.
Unofficial sources from the state police indicated that in the house, they also found cartridges from firearms of various calibers, including those for exclusive use by the Mexican Army.
Due to the above, the police detained a 36-year-old person identified as Gabino M.M. They also arrested Isabel H.C., Gabino’s wife, and another man, Pablo M. P.
The FGR secured the home and transferred the detainees to the agency’s facilities to later place them at the disposal of the judge who granted the search warrant.
